Villains

Tall, dark, dreamy and covered in hair, Gaston is everyone's favourite guy! He is strong and muscular, and is a hit with all the ladies in the village. Gaston is also arrogant, vain and a brute. He doesn't take no for an answer, and harasses Belle constantly to be his wife, despite her obvious dislike towards him. When Belle's father comes telling the story of the Beast, Gaston is too ignorant to take him seriously, and brands him a madman. When he realises the truth, Gaston takes it upon himself to lead an angry mob to the Beast's Castle to kill the Beast. In his arrogance and self loving, Gaston cannot see that Belle could actually fall in love with something like the Beast, and not him. Determined to prove he is a worthy man and husband by killing the creature, Gaston engages the Beast in battle to the death. High up on the rooftops of the crumbling castle, Gaston mortally wounds the Beast, but not before being thrown to his own untimely demise into the ravine below. Selfish and thuggish, Gaston proves that he is more a Beast than the creature himself.
