The Disney Parks Blog announced today that it will be having a New Orleans Bayou Bash on selected dates throughout February and March.
In terms of characters, according to the blog:
Special entertainment will include performances by Princess Tiana, Louis and Naveen and meet & greet opportunities with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale – all dressed up in their Mardi Gras finest!
It sounds like it is exactly the same kind of program and character meets that they had last year during Family Fun Weekends' Mardi Gras Celebration. I hope, though, that they will actually make meets with Tiana, Louis and Naveen available this year. I must have mentioned that a hundred times in all the surveys I took and I'd like to believe somebody listens to me. LOL!
Here are the dates that the New Orleans Bayou Bash will be held:
- February 10, 11, 12
- February 17, 18, 19, 20, 21
- February 24, 25, 26
- March 2, 3, 4
- March 9, 10, 11
If it's like last year, activities will be held in different parts of New Orleans Square with meet-and-greets both in the Court of Angels and on the tiered area near the Rivers of America.
