On the heals of the bad character news for Animal Kingdom we get some potentially good character news. It is being reported on WDW Magic that in August the Beastly Bazar merchandise will close to be turned into an indoor air conditioned character meet and greet location! It is unknown *who* will be moving to this location but hopefully it will result in additional characters after all the cuts instead of just moving some of the current ones around.

Ohhh this sounds hopeful, especially in lieu of Disney's recent habit of taking away characters from AK.
I wonder if they'll end up putting the regulars in or whether they'll play nice and give us a rotating variety, pop-ups, or just a non fab 5 list of regulars. At this stage I'm thinking that any of those would be cool although it would be really nice to give us back or replace some of the chars they have lost.
Fingers crossed. AK sorely needs something like this I feel. =)

I'm really hoping that it will result in more characters, but I have a feeling it will be the fab 5. Supposedly they're trying to get all the characters out of there for future expansion (Avatar?) so that would be a great place for them...but it would be nice to see Timon, Jiminy, Meeko, the Bunnies, Daisy, Br'ers, and other characters that have only recently become rare...thanks for that, Animal Kingdom management :-/

I really dont understand why they have made so many character cuts at Animal Kingdom... once nice thing about it was that there were many characters you couldn't meet elsewhere in WDW (and some were rare in more than just WDW)... not so much anymore

 The character I want to be in this building for meet 'n greet really badly is Flik from "A Bug's Life." He is my favorite character and "A Bug's Life" is my favorite movie.
