Does anybody know why Jiminy is seemingly absent from the park. He seems to appear at all of the other parks quite regularly.
I see that he was about for the 20th celebrations but does anybody know why he doesn't appear more often?

To be honest, I don't know why.
He only really gets used in Animal Kingdom up at the Conservation Station, and in Tokyo DisneySea's Mediterranean Harbor.

It's a real shame. and like I've said before the continued and overuse of Gepetto and Gideon makes it even more peculiar!

actually we saw Jiminy during the daytime parade at Magic Kingdom..

He is very rare at Disneyland Paris, sadly  He is occasionally at the Disneyland Hotel, I met him once over there at the California Grill! He was also at Inventions during the Italian Brunch. Sadly I was not there to meet him He was also out at Fantasyland last Christmas with Pinocchio. He is always at DLP's Special Events. When ever they have Pinocchio at an event, Jiminy Cricket is always with him! LOL! But when it comes to the Parks, he's never out! That's very sad

Since birth, I have been fascinated by all the Disneye characters. I enjoy the thought of being around the characters and experiencing the Magic of Disney!

Chameleontonge, you're right, Jiminy does indeed appear in various parades and shows, but I think Martin was more referring to meet 'n' greets.
There really is no reason he doesn't appear. It is quite strange!

Martin, the Italian brunch sadly was more a one off than anything.
They do rotate the brunches, and sometimes they throw random ones into the mix but generally they have a fixed rotation.
The common ones are London, Paris, Hawaiian, Fairy Tale and Around the World.
At seasonal times of the year or specific days they do more special ones. For example Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Father's Day, Mother's Day etc.
We do have a brunch page for Inventions here on the site if you want to check it out 
EDIT: I just noticed that we haven't added the Parisian Brunch to the page yet lol. I guess I'll do that in a little while!
