The lottery system of ticketing the seats at TDR is irritating at best. You have one chance, per group, per day to get decent seats for Big Band Beat in American Waterfront, or the seasonal shows that happen throughout the year. If you are unlucky, then you have to wait for not-so-good seats like the rest of the public. The first show of the day is not normally ticketed. All shows thereafter usually offer the chance. It is free to enter the lottery.
