Animal Kingdom, Walt Disney World

Cross over the bridge into the native village of Harambe, and find yourself transported to the heart of African culture. Explore the arts and crafts, or grab a drink and fruit to cool yourself down from one of the market stalls. Trek through the forest trails to discover birds, fish, gorillas and hippos. Finally, be sure not to miss the spectacular safari tour across the great African veld, watching for lions, elephants, giraffes and other amazing animals. Whatever you decide to do, Africa will capture your heart and mind and have you wanting to come back again to this beautiful and diverse land.

Meeting Disney Characters

Bizarrely, the Asian characters Baloo and King Louie (Jungle Book is set in India!) meet along the trails on the pathway to Asia. This area is technically still Africa, and sometimes Flik and Terk (who is African) can be met here too, but not very often.
