Captain Hook is the bumbling pirate villain from Neverland. Sailing the waters around the enchanted island with his crew of misfits and idiots, Hook forever seeks the boy who has caused him so much pain and misery, Peter Pan. The Captain lost his left hand when Peter cut it off and fed it to the crocodile. Since then the croc has been haunting Hook, always wanting more. Luckily for Hook the croc also ate an alarm clock, so he can hear when the croc is coming near. His plans always fail, mainly due to the incompetence of not only himself, but of his downtrodden crew and first mate, Smee. Unlikely ever to escape the timeless realm of Neverland, and unlikely to ever capture the boy who taunts him, Hook is not just the captain of the ship, but a prisoner of his own doing, forever doomed to fail.

Meeting Captain Hook

At the Walt Disney World Resort, Captain Hook used to meet regularly in Adventureland, but he has recently stopped meeting his fans. Unfortunately at the present time there is no permanent or regular place that he can be met, except occasionally appearing inside the Animation Building in Hollywood Studios. In the Disneyland Resort, Hook does not meet in the Parks very often, but when he does it is usually in Fantasyland. He can sometimes be met at the Minnie's Breakfast at the Plaza Inn. At Disneyland Paris Hook meets regularly in Adventureland by Colonel Hathi's, near Peter Pan's Flight or randomly in other places around Adventureland and Fantasyland. He has also been seen from time to time at the Lucky Nugget Character meal in Frontierland, and at Cafe Mickey in Disney Village.
