Chip and Dale first appeared in the Mickey Mouse cartoon
short Private Pluto on April 2nd 1943.
Sixty eight years later, they are still as mischievous as
ever! So let us take a photographic tour now of the loveable duo, as we celebrate their 68th Birthday!
Chip is often just as naughty as his
brother Dale, but when it comes to saving the world with their Rescue Ranger
pals, Chip takes on a more serious role. Whether it is hiding in a Christmas
tree annoying the frustrated Pluto, or solving another villainous plot hatched
by Fat Cat, Chip is a loyal friend, and great detective.
Often seen as more mischievous than
Chip, Dale has a more casual and relaxed approach to life, favouring a Hawaiian
shirt for crime fighting over Chip's more serious Indiana Jones style. Despite
his clumsy nature Dale proves he is just a good as friend and crime fighter as
Chip, making them the ultimate duo.
