Today is the Magic Kingdom's 40th Birthday, and so as a tribute, I have compiled a series of character pictures throughout the years, from the Magic Kingdom, in celebration of the big day.
Let us begin our magical tour on Main Street, USA...
Let us continue deep into the jungle, and enter Adventureland!
As we leave Adventureland, we find ourselves in the heart of the American West, in Frontierland!
From Frontierland we go a little further back in time to the founding of America, to a place called Liberty Square...
As we leave behind the more serious moments of the past, we now we take a step into the world of Fantasy, in Fantasyland.
From Fantasyland we take a stroll into the toon world, and come face to face with some of the best loved Disney Stars, in Mickey's Toontown Fair.
From the now defunct Toontown we stroll into the futuristic world of Tomorrowland. Greeting space travellers!
Now let us celebrate the occasion Disney style, with some amazing parades and shows that have freatured at the parks throughout the years!
We really look forward to the coming decades at the Magic Kingdom, and hope that it continues to grow and flourish.
Here's to another 40th fantastic years!
