Making her debut in the 1928 short ‘Steamboat Willie”, Minnie Mouse is the long time sweetheart of Mickey Mouse. Her real name is Minerva Mouse.
Though never actually starring in her own movie, short or show, Minnie Mouse has been there from the start, through thick and thin. Her best friends are Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow. Minnie isn’t technically a princess, but has played the roll on a number of occasions*, and though she remains uncrowned, in the words of Mickey, she’ll always be a princess to us.

*Ye Olden Days, The Kingdom Hearts games, The Three Musketeers, occasionally in costume at the Parks.

Meeting Minnie Mouse

Minnie Mouse can be found regularly in set locations in every Disney Theme Park. At the Magic Kingdom you can find her in Town Square Theater. In EPCOT she is always at the Character Spot. In Animal Kingdom you can meet her in her Camp Councillor finest over at Camp Minnie-Mickey. In Hollywood Studios Minnie can often be found round the Big Hat.

In Disneyland Minnie can be met frequently at her house in Toontown. At California Adventure she is all dressed for the Californian lifestyle in Sunshine Plaza.

In Disneyland Paris she can be regularly seen on Main Street, aboard the Party Train or over at Cottonwood Creek.
