Hi all,

The big news this weekend of course was the premier of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at the Disneyland Resort in California. As I already pointed out yesterday, Loren was there right on the front line, and made a forum post about it here, including up close pictures of all the stars! Be sure to check it out! His report also includes some character updates.

Staying with Disneyland, I saw on a friend's Facebook page that Foulfellow was at the Minnie and Friends Breakfast at the Plaza Inn last week. Foulfellow is quite uncommon across all the Parks and Resorts, except at Tokyo DisneySea where he appears often down in Mediterranean Harbor.

Speaking of Tokyo, over on MiceChat user 'bandit' posted saying that Tokyo have cancelled a number of programmes this year, much to everyone's dismay. The pirate themed summer events for Tokyo Disneyland and the Halloween events for DisneySea have both been cancelled!

I realise and understand that what has happened in Japan recently has had a major affect on things, and I really do feel for them, but I am not sure why events that are months away have to be cancelled? Especially Halloween, and especially since Halloween there is so immensely popular. I guess no pirate or Halloween themed costumes for the characters this year then!

I saw on a friend's Facebook that over in the Animal Kingdom in Florida Daisy had made some appearances last week, at the Greetings Trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey. Daisy sometimes - actually very rarely - replaces Donald when he has to go off elsewhere.

Staying with Florida, and WDWMagic member Drew posted (post number 11) saying that Phineas and Ferb have been pushed back AGAIN, and will now start meets on the 29th of May, hopefully...

Finally, I have spent the last couple of days trying to update many pages on the site, including descriptions, meeting locations, adding new locations, adding missing outfits and updating the About Us, Calendar and Trip Reports sections. There is quite a lot across the site that has been done, so I'll leave it to you to discover some of those changes! ;)

As always the site is a work-in-progress though, and there are never enough hours in the day for me to do everything that needs to be done. One day I might come close, but not yet!
