The Queen

Snow Queen, Evil Queen, Queen Grimhilde

Disney Royalty, Villains

Queen Grimhilde is heartless and cold. When her husband the king dies, she remains Queen and sees to it that his daughter becomes a slave in her own home. Fiercely jealous of Snow White, the Queen orders her death. When the huntsman returns with a pig's heart the Queen decides to take matters into her own hands. Not believing in the power of true love, the Queen doesn't actually kill Snow White, she is twisted enough to only allow her revival by true love's kiss - which she doesn't think possible - leaving Snow White in her ghoulish "sleeping dead" state forever. Forever a reminder of the price of true beauty. A powerful witch, self obsessed and vain, Queen Grimhilde is Walt Disney's most bitter one of all.
